This 50-year-old woman presented to my office seeking improvement in the appearance of her breasts. She had previously undergone a breast lift 12 years earlier but felt that her breasts had increased in volume over time and had gradually descended to a lower position on her chest. While she remained satisfied with her breast size, she was unhappy with their shape and degree of sagging. Because she wished to maintain her current breast volume, I performed a breast lift (mastopexy) to reshape the breasts and reposition the nipple-areola complexes to a more youthful location. The procedure restored a more lifted, balanced breast contour and improved the way her clothing fit while enhancing her overall confidence.
