This 39-year-old woman presented to my office unhappy with the results of a previous breast augmentation performed eighteen years earlier, in which 250 cc saline implants had been placed above the muscle through an axillary incision. She wished for greater volume, silicone implants, and placement beneath the muscle. She underwent a bilateral breast augmentation revision through an inframammary incision with 545 cc silicone implants in the retropectoral plane.
