This 24-year-old woman presented to my office seeking improvement in the appearance of her breasts due to limited breast volume and breast asymmetry. To enhance breast volume and improve symmetry, I performed breast augmentation using silicone implants placed through inframammary incisions hidden within the natural fold beneath each breast. A 250 cc implant was placed in the right breast and a 230 cc implant was placed in the left breast. Both implants were positioned in the submuscular plane to create a natural, balanced breast contour. Additionally, she underwent a breast lift (mastopexy) to correct pre-existing nipple-areola asymmetry. This was performed using a periareolar incision around the areola, allowing for repositioning and improved symmetry while avoiding a vertical breast scar.
