This 19-year-old woman presented to my office seeking improvement in the appearance of her breasts. She was primarily concerned with the position of her nipple-areola complexes and the overall sagging (ptosis) of her breasts. I performed a breast lift (mastopexy) using an incision around the areola combined with a vertical incision, commonly referred to as a "lollipop" scar. This technique allowed me to reposition the nipple-areola complexes to a more youthful location and reshape the breasts, creating a more lifted, balanced, and aesthetically pleasing contour.
