This 57-year-old mother of three presented to my office to discuss chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain associated with the size and weight of her breasts. She wore a 34DDD bra and reported daily discomfort, including shoulder grooving and indentations from her bra straps. She also found it challenging to find comfortable clothing that fit appropriately. She underwent a breast reduction with liposuction of the axillary areas to improve breast contour and alleviate symptoms associated with macromastia. Using a lollipop incision pattern and an incision along the inframammary fold, 378 grams of breast tissue were removed from each breast, creating a more proportionate breast size and improved overall comfort.
